: While traditional analyses support research and decision-making, they often fall short in scaling or aligning with strategic goals. People analytics offers a powerful framework to address today’s workforce and organizational challenges. This seminar introduces the what, why, and how of people analytics through notable use cases and the speaker’s own projects, concluding with a discussion on applications and future collaboration.
Bio
: Dr. Seung Won Yoon is a Full Professor of Human Resource Development and a Faculty Fellow at the Center for Teaching Excellence at Texas A&M University. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals across diverse fields. He currently serves as a faculty advisor to PwC Korea and as President of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) for the 2024–2026 term, the premier association in his field. He teaches graduate-level courses on computational social science methods for students in education and the social sciences.
