As of August 31, 2024, Kim Jong-wook (management information major), Lee Kun-chang (management information major), and Jung Moon-ki (accounting major) retired from the business school.
On Thursday, September 5, a thank-you session for retired teachers was held during a dinner that followed the meeting of all professors of the business school. Lee Seok-gyu, dean of the business school, delivered a plaque of appreciation, Choi Young-soo, vice president of the business school, delivered a bouquet of gratitude, and it was held with applause from many business school professors.
Professor Kim Jong-wook (major of management information) has contributed greatly to the development of management information through many papers and active writing activities while serving at Sungkyunkwan University's business school for 22 years and 6 months from March 2002 to August 2024, and has also worked to cultivate his younger students by serving as the head of the business research institute and vice president of the business school.
Professor Lee Kun-chang (management information major) has contributed to the development of management information through many papers and active writing activities while serving at Sungkyunkwan University's business school for 29 years from September 1995 to August 2024.
Professor Jeong Moon-ki (accounting major) worked hard to develop management accounting while serving at Sungkyunkwan University's business school for eight and a half years from March 2016 to August 2024, and has also worked to cultivate his younger students by serving as an advisor to the CPA class (Yang Hyun-gwan Gosi class) on campus.
Since Sept. 1, professors Kim Jong-wook and Lee Kun-chang have continued their affection and interest in Sungkyunkwan University and business schools as honorary professors and Chung Moon-ki as guest professors.
