2024 Monash University Australia Visit to Business School

From September 22nd (Sunday) to October 28th (Saturday), the Monash Business School Global Executive MBA delegation from Australia visited Sungkyunkwan University for seven days. The delegation consisted of 34 people, including 32 students and 2 practitioners.
On Sunday, September 22, there was a briefing on the overall program, and on Monday, September 23, the actual schedule began at the Business Building of our school. The program began with a tour of the Sungkyunkwan University campus, followed by a welcoming speech by Professor Han Young-ji, Director of the International Exchange Center. After that, the program continued with a special lecture on Korean Government-Chaebol Relationships by Professor Kim Yong-jun, and a special lecture on Korean Economy & Society by Professor Moon Cheol-woo.
On Tuesday, September 24th, a special lecture was held by Professor Moon Cheol-woo on Corporate Strategies for Entering the Korean Market and by Professor Cho Sung-hee on Korean Organizational Culture.
On Wednesday, September 25th, we visited the Australian Embassy in Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and had a tour with Australian Ambassador to Korea Jeff Robinson. In the afternoon, we moved to Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, and visited the Samsung Innovation Museum.
On Thursday, September 26th, we visited the Global Digital Innovation Network (GDIN) located in Bundang in the morning, and the schedule ended with a special lecture on Digital and Social Media Marketing Strategy by Professor Chae In-young in the afternoon.
On Friday, September 27th, the last day of the vacancy schedule, all schedules were successfully concluded with group presentations by MBA students. Through this visit, we expect to continue cooperation for the development of the two schools in the future with expectations for international exchange.
Meanwhile, Monash Business School is highly regarded on a global scale and is accredited by international business education accreditation agencies such as AACSB and EQUIS. Sungkyunkwan University Business School (Dean Seok-Kyu Lee) holds this event every year to promote development and continuous cooperation between the two schools for international exchange.
