On January 3 (Friday), Jeong In-chang (Business ’72) donated 100 million won to the ‘Jeong In Scholarship Fund’ at the 600th Anniversary Memorial Hall of the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus. The ceremony was attended by Jeong In-chang (Business ’72), President Yoo Ji-beom, Executive Director of the School Foundation Joo Young-soo, Vice President of the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus Choi Hoon-seok, 1398TF Director Choi Jae-boong, and Director of the Foundation Lee Dong-hwan.
Alumnus Jeong In-chang said, “It was my first time visiting my alma mater in a long time since graduation, and seeing the campus that had changed so much gave me a new feeling,” and added, “I felt proud to see my alma mater developing, and I decided to make a donation to help even just a little bit.”

President Yoo Ji-beom presented a merit plaque and a university baseball jacket as gifts and expressed his gratitude, saying, “Sungkyunkwan University is developing day by day thanks to the meaningful donations from our donors.” He continued, “In accordance with the wishes of alumnus Jeong In-chang, we will provide valuable scholarships to students in need.”

With this donation from alumnus Jeong In-chang, our university will establish the ‘Jeong In Scholarship Fund’ and select students to receive scholarships.
