On Tuesday, November 4th, Sungkyunkwan University's College of Business Administration held a ceremony to donate the Jungbong Academic Research Fund in the Dean's Office.
This fund was established to celebrate the awarding of an honorary doctorate in business administration to Chairman Lee Hyun-goo, alumnus of the Department of Business Administration (Class of '68). Professor Emeritus Jang Young-kwang and CEO Hwang Jong-geun each donated 10 million won.

At the ceremony, Professor Emeritus Jang Young-kwang and CEO Hwang Jong-geun attended and presented a donation certificate, expressing their hopes for the development of Sungkyunkwan University. The certificate stated, "We will do our best to cultivate individuals with the qualities of benevolence, righteousness, wisdom, and wisdom, who will contribute to the development of the world and the prosperity of humanity."

The Jungbong Academic Research Fund is a research fund designed to support universities in securing substantial research competitiveness. It will contribute to the academic growth of the School of Business Administration and the development of future generations. In 2023, a commemorative plaque was unveiled on the first floor of the Business Hall to commemorate Chairman Lee Hyeon-gu's donation to the Jungbong Academic Research Fund.

Through this donation, Sungkyunkwan University's College of Business Administration plans to continue the legacy of its alumni and further its efforts in fostering talent that will contribute to the global society.
