- Discussions on expanding exchanges and cooperation centered on fintech

On Friday, November 7, 2025, a 30-member delegation from the Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB) in Vietnam visited Sungkyunkwan University. The visit was designed to strengthen international exchange and cooperation between the two universities and academic ties in the fintech field.

First, we began with welcoming remarks from Cho Min-hyo, Dean of the Office of International Affairs at Sungkyunkwan University, followed by a tour of the university's Myeongnyun Campus. This was followed by an introduction to Sungkyunkwan University's key research initiatives. Vice Dean Seo Ah-young introduced the School of Business Administration, followed by Professor Song Kyo-jik's introduction to the BK21 Fintech Center.

Through this visit, the two universities explored possibilities for expanding various forms of academic exchange, including research collaboration in fintech and finance and student exchange programs. Sungkyunkwan University plans to use this event as an opportunity to further solidify its global network with leading universities in Asia.
