‘Singapore Global Career Tour’ with Global Business Students: Meeting with Jim Rogers, an international investor
Professor Kim Young-Han and nine students from Global Business Administration Program participated in the ‘Singapore Global Career Tour’ from January 22nd to 24th. During the tour, Students visited eight global companies and two universities, including BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company.
The Global Career Tour is a program where students visit the center of global business and get know-how from experts and broaden their knowledge. Plus, they can meet local alumni and build networks with them.
Especially on this tour, Jim Rogers, one of the world's top three investors, gave his views about investment on Korean peninsula and some sincere advice to Korean university students. “You need to have an overseas experience to understand Korea objectively,” Jim Rogers said. “We recommend working in Korea after working for two to three years as a global investor.” The Global Business School students said that they learned how to look at the world from various perspectives, especially when they met global investor Jim Rogers.
