Sungkyunkwan University Alumni Association appointed Kim Seong-jip (Business 74), Chairman of BASEHD, and Jeon Yong-ju (Business 74), Chairman of HASHSNAP as the 38th senior vice president and Cha Dong-ok (English 76), an honorary professor at one's alma mater's business school as the general vice president.
Senior Vice President Kim Seong-jip said, "With a great sense of responsibility, I will do my best to make the Alumni Association a place of cooperation for 240,000 Sungkyun people and play a role as a wheat grain in the development of our alma mater." To this end, he decided to consider the overall issues necessary for the alumni association presidency by participating in the development plan of the alumni association and communicating with the unit alumni association. He has served as an exective of the Alumni Association since the 31st and has expressed continued interest and support for the alumni association.
Senior Vice-Chairman Jeon Yong-ju said, "We will try to make the Alumni Association function as a place of smooth harmony by influencing the activities of a wide range of alumni. He has served as the vice president of the alumni association since the 33rd generation, and has been serving as the senior vice president since the 37th generation, playing a pivotal role in strengthening the integrity of the alumni association. He has been active as a certified public accountant for more than 40 years, and is known to be well versed in the field of humanities, such as acquiring a Ph.D. in philosophy in our school and publishing books on <Humanities Travel to Confucius>
Vice Chairman Cha Dong-ok will be in charge of the overall affairs of the Alumni Association. Vice President Cha Dong-ok, who has served as an executive of the Alumni Association since 2005 and has participated in the vitalization and development of the alumni society, said, "We will do our best to establish the alumni association as an exemplary organization with a sense of calling" adding, "We will make more efforts to expand the rights of alumni and develop alumni associations." During his tenure as a professor at the College of Business Administration, he published many books and papers in the field of "Leadership" and served as the Minister of External Affairs and International Affairs. He also served externally as chairman of the Korean Academy of Organization and Management, chairman of the Korean Academic Association of Business Administration, and chairman of the Korean Academy of Business History.
