The 3rd Sungkyunkwan Management Academic Festival was held from July 25(Mon) to July 26(Tue) co-hosted by the student council Bitwin and the administrative office of the business school. The Sungkyunkwan Management Academic Festival is implemented to provide practical application opportunities for academics, strengthen expertise in fields by conducting detailed business majors, and strengthen human networks among students through academic research.
Participants were recruited in advance from June 13 to June 19 and the final presentation team was selected after reviewing the research report, and the final presentation was announced by 2 teams majoring in accounting at 11 p.m. and 5 teams majoring in finance at 15 p.m. on July 25(Mon). The next day, on the 26th(Tue), 6 teams majoring in marketing at 13:00 and 6 teams majoring in management at 16:00 were announced. Vice Dean Lee Jong-eun and Professor Cho Hyun-kwon in the accounting majors, Professor Park Heung-joo and Oh Jong-min in the finance majors, Professor Chae In-young, Han Ji-sang, Lee Hye-jin in the marketing majors, and Professor Kim Do-hyun and Cho Sung-hee in the management majors participated in the review.
Lee Jong-eun, Vice Dean of Business School, who was in charge of the review this time, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to the students who worked hard for the academic festival during the summer vacation, and I hope this opportunity will be and opportunity to learn about your fields of interest".
The winners were Lee Soo-ah, Kim Min-kyung(business administration) team in the accounting majors, Kim So-jung, Kim Soo-kyung, Cho Hee-won, Sung Si-wan(business administration) team in the finance majors, Park Yoo-jin, Kim Hye-eun, Kwon So-jung, Yoon Seo-hee(global business administration) team in the marketing majors, and Hwang In-joon, Sung Myung-joon, Lee Yeo-min(global business administration) team in the management majors.
It is expected that the Sungkyunkwan Management Academic Festival will foster the competencies and experiences necessary for students' external activities and strengthen their fields of interest and expertise.
