Ford Korea donates 2010 New Taurus to SKKU

Jung Jae Hee, CEO Ford Sales Service Korea, has announced Ford Korea’s donation of a 2010 New Taurus to the SKKU Department of Mechanical Engineering. Ford Korea has regularly been donating research cars to the car-related departments of Korea University, Seoul National University, ChungBuk University, and Kumho National Institute of Technology since 1999. This donation marks the 12th year in which Ford Korea has provided a large sedan to promote academic-industry cooperation. CEO Jung Jae Hee said, “Ford Korea’s car donation program will provide engineers the chance to learn the various high technologies of Ford.” He also expressed his hopes that Korea, like the U.S., would come to develop new technologies through Ford Korea’s cooperative effort.
