Demonstrating its potential and excellence in the 2009 HanKyung Business School Evaluation
SKKU has taken 4th place in the 2009 Business School Evaluation conducted by HanKyung Business and M&C Research.
SKKU ranked fourth with a total of 4017 points, and SNU ranked third with a total of 4248 points. A large disparity arose between SKKY and SeoGang University, which ranked fifth with a total of 3417 points, demonstrating the improving status of SKKU Business School.
Entrance exam related academies are have also been evaluating SKKU positively, highlighting the successful dual system decision to separate business administration from the social sciences and operating Global Business Administration (GBA). GBA provides all lectures in English and offers a dual degree with Indiana University and extraordinary benefits to students. A positive evaluation of GBA is expected after three to four years when the current freshmen graduate.
The HanKyung evaluation examined total 45 business schools each with more than 130 students and operating as part of a 4-year university. Personnel executives from the top 200 companies, selected by HanKyung Business based on total market sales, also participated in the survey. The surveys with a total of 8 questions covered characteristics such as task adaptation ability, organizational harmony, and creativity.
In March 2009, SKKU Business School acquired international certification for business education from the Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB-International).
