MOU established with the Ohio State University

Go Global! Go SKKU Business School ! Dr. S. Ghon Rhee, dean of SKKU Business School, and Dr. Anil Makhija, professor of finance from Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University, completed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between their two schools on June 18th. Professor JB Chay, Professor Dong Ok Chah, and Mr. Chan-Suk Lee, head of the Business Administration Office, attended the signing.
The Ohio State University (OSU) is a co-educational public research university in the state of Ohio. The university was founded in 1870 as a land-qrant university and is currently the largest university in the United States. Ohio State is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the best public university in Ohio, among the top 60 universities in the U.S., and among the top 20 public U.S. universities.
Fisher College of Business is consistently ranked as one of the top 20 MBA programs in the U.S. Fisher College is world-renowned for its individual areas of expertise, including corporate finance, brand management, and supply chain management. Notably, Fisher College was ranked third in the U.S. for its leadership in supply chain management.
The SKKU Business School – Fisher College of Business MOU calls for the creation of a dual degree and student exchange programs. With this addition, SKKU Business School now has two dual degree program partners that include Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and Indiana University Kelly School. SKKU Business School students will benefit through new opportunities not only to acquire degrees by pursuing their studies in top business school environments, but also to participate in international internships, job fairs and interviews. SKKU Business School has established MOUs with 573 universities from 60 countries around the world. Since Dr. S. Ghon Rhee’s inauguration as dean of SKKU Business School, he has been actively working to expand partnerships with top-level universities abroad.
